The Ministry of Digitalisation and Public Governance has received a draft review of Norway’s latest action plan for the Open Government Partnership (OGP). The review, conducted by OGP’s audit body, the Independent Reporting Mechanism (IRM), provides an independent and evidence-based overview of the strengths and challenges of the action plan Norway published earlier this year.
In addition to the Ministry of Digitalisation and Public Governance, several civil society organisations have been invited to review the draft report. This is to ensure that both government bodies and civil society organisations have the opportunity to review the report and provide additional information and clarifications.
The pre-publication review period lasts for three weeks following the receipt of the IRM product. The Ministry of Digitalisation and Public Administration has been given a deadline to submit comments by November 6, 2024.
